Pole Steeple
Pole Steeple is located at Laurel Lake. There is a parking lot large enough for about 20 cars. The trail starts from the road to the left of the cabin. The trail is marked with blue blaze. The trail grade is consistent for the first third of the trail. When the trail turns right, it levels to a slight upgrade. At the next left, the trail is steep and rocky. At the face the trail goes up the middle to the top. This is a good place to watch the sun set. There is still some light left for the top of the trail when you start down. A view of the lake and the valley can be enjoyed from here.
